Winners of Sustainability Training Competition Announced by Net Zero Now
Two lucky individuals are set to boost their sustainability know-how and add an enviable name to their CVs after being selected as winners of Net Zero Now’s latest competition. Stuart Cleak, partner at Birketts LLP, and Joanna Tall, solicitor at Irwin Mitchell LLP, grabbed seats on the prestigious Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership’s Sustainability Essentials for Business Course to up their sustainability game and enable them to deliver even more positive impact in their businesses.

Winner Stuart commented: “I am super excited to have won and inspired to really focus and learn as much as I can about what sustainability means for our firm. One of my passions is conservation and combating climate change so a course that looks at sustainability in leadership seemed something too good not to enter!”
Net Zero Now Launches Sector-Specific Guidance for Legal and Accountancy Firms
The competition accompanied the launch of Net Zero Now’s new sector-specific guidance for legal firms and accountancy practices, and was open to any practitioner in these sectors who was keen to learn more about sustainability.
Winner Joanna said: “I spotted the competition on the Net Zero Now blog and had to enter. I feel now is the time to really act and help the word achieve Net Zero. To this end, I want to help lead businesses down the sustainability path and this course looked like exactly the right tool to help me deepen my knowledge in that area.”
Sustainability Education: A Stepping Stone Towards Net Zero
Knowledge and education can be a barrier to sustainability progress. The course will equip our winners with greater understanding of global sustainability trends and how businesses can take effective action to respond to them. Their learning efforts will be rewarded with a certificate of completion from the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.
